The Landscape Industry Association (Singapore) (LIAS) was established in 2001 to advance professionalism and excellence in Singapore’s landscape sector. Our mission is to support Singapore’s vision as a City in Nature through quality landscaping services, industry development, and strong member collaboration. We actively promote trade opportunities, organize industry programs, and disseminate timely updates to our members.
**About the Role**
We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts and Admin Executive (3-day work week) to support LIAS in its administrative, financial, and event-related functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the execution of industry development initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**
Finance & Admin
- Manage financial transactions, including reconciliation and ensuring accurate payment records.
- Perform basic bookkeeping duties (general ledger, accounts payable, cash flow) and prepare monthly finance reports for Council meetings.
- Liaise with external auditors for annual audit preparation, including account schedules.
- Prepare and support annual statutory submissions (IRAS, ROS filings).
Governance & Secretariat Support
- Assist in administering Council Meetings and the Annual General Meeting, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and logistics coordination.
HR & Membership
- Provide basic HR support (monthly payroll, CPF submissions, leave tracking, staff claims - for 2 headcounts).
Event & Program Support
- Provide administrative and logístical support for events such as workshops, seminars (approx. 1 per month), and 2 major annual events.
- Assist with on-site support when necessary.
**Reporting Line**
This role reports to the Project Manager and works closely with the LIAS Council.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma holder with 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and administration.
- Fresh graduates and mid-career switchers are welcome; training will be provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Strong attention to detail, good multi-tasking abilities, and a positive team attitude.Prior experience in a Trade Association or event management is an advantage.
