**The role**

As part of our vision to spread the mission of Love, Bonito and become the largest women’s lifestyle mono brand globally, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects run in a cost effective manner. You will actively conduct cost analysis and research on our targeted markets, source for new external vendors and partner with other departments to expedite the roll out of physical stores efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will need to understand and be extremely resourceful to build out an efficient global procurement arm for our global offline store projects. You will be a tactful and strong negotiator, balancing tight timelines & budgets alongside the maintenance of good supplier relations. You are knowledgeable on the (preferably cross border) retail construct with a keen eye for details when it comes to quality and cost analysis. Reporting to the Head of Retail Excellence you will help the retail expansion team source for the most cost, quality and time efficient suppliers for the Love, Bonito Retail stores.

**Main responsibilities**
- Retail Centre of Excellence Related Procurement_
- Source globally for most price competitive and suitable vendor, contractor for the supply of product/ service required for all projects the Retail Centre of Excellence embarks on
- Communicate effectively with vendor or contractor on product/service availability and delivery
- Verify purchase requisitions by project team, clarifying unclear items and recommending alternatives
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of local and overseas product/services procured
- Keep track of product/service defects, ensuring prompt corrective actions from vendors/contractors through strong collaboration with external and internal stakeholders
- Conduct vendor/ contractor quality and cost effectiveness assessments and audits
- Manage purchasing expenses with meticulous record keeping
- Develop clear SOPs for cross departmental procurement processes, working closely with Retail Centre of Excellence to compile such SOPs within the Retail Playbook
- Maintain good relationship with vendors and contractors, constantly looking out for cost optimisation in each market through sales agreements and supply contracts negotiation in ways that benefit the company
- Constantly looking for ways to make purchasing more efficient, improving quality, time and cost in a global manner, making economies of scale work to the company’s benefit

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction & build industry, preferably dealing with contractors and vendors in both a local and global capacity
- Possesses logístical qualifications and analytical thinking ability
