We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **Associate Director - Wealth Models.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support the Head of Wealth Models in end-to-end management of Wealth Models as a part of the wider Global Models Team in IWS. The team manages Wealth and Investment models like Product Risk Rating, Client Risk Profiling, Simulators and other models relating to advice and suitability. The role holder will focus on the PRR model and act as a SME to support the Centre of Reference for Product Risk Rating (PRR CoR) and lead the implementation of a newly developed PRR automated calculation engine and workflow tool (PREP). The role holder will work closely to cover the end-to-end requirements to manage models: (1) Model Governance, Policy & Regulatory Risk, (2) Model Portfolio, Risk Analytics & Risk Mitigation, (3) Model Development, Validation & Implementation, and (4) Model Monitoring, Control, Standards & Documentation.

The key tasks for this category will include:

- Focus on the management and implementation of PRR model
- Design and deliver methodologies and models to serve the wealth business needs
- Creation and maintenance of Model Documentation, development and implementation standards
- First line of defence validation, monitoring and ongoing model management and support for IMR review
- Models inventory management
- Ensure that Wealth Models are fit for purpose, well governed and reviewed frequently
- Ensure that the global model risk FIM standards are fulfilled, and effectively support the continuous embedding of model risk management for Wealth models
- Ensure that global and local regulatory requirements are identified and met, and interface with IMR to with the aim to achieve validations
- Preparation of papers for governance bodies

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Relevant professional qualifications - CFA charter holder or pursuing, background in Economics/ Statistics/ Finance/IT
- Post-Degree level education
- Knowledge of Wealth/Investment Products
- IT script management skills are desirable (Java/SQL/Python/Groovy)
- Familiarity with Model Risk Management
- Strong mathematical and analytics skills
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills - Both verbal and written
- Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner
- Relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills
- Experience in investment products is desirable
