A **Sales Merchandiser**is responsible for promoting products and ensuring that they are displayed attractively in retail stores. This role focuses on maximizing product sales through strategic placement, stock management, and customer engagement.

**Job Summary**:
The Sales Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that products are effectively displayed, promoted, and stocked in retail stores. The role involves working closely with sales teams, store managers, and customers to drive product sales and enhance brand visibility. The Sales Merchandiser will help ensure that the store is visually appealing and that products are readily available for customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Display and Merchandising**:Ensure that all products are well-stocked and displayed according to brand guidelines. Set up attractive displays and promotional setups to maximize sales. Implement visual merchandising strategies to increase product visibility and customer interest. Maintain organized product shelves, making sure that labels, pricing, and promotional materials are accurate.
- **Stock Management**:Monitor product inventory levels and replenish stock as needed. Report low stock levels, product shortages, and any damaged or expired goods to the store or warehouse management. Assist with stock rotation to ensure that older products are sold first.
- **Sales Promotion**:Assist in the promotion of new and seasonal products through in-store displays and activities. Implement and execute marketing campaigns or special promotions as directed by the company or brand. Engage with customers to highlight product features and encourage purchases.
- **Customer Interaction**:Provide excellent customer service, offering product recommendations and answering inquiries. Establish relationships with store staff to ensure product knowledge is shared and maintained. Help customers with product selections by providing insights into product benefits.
- **Market and Competitor Monitoring**:Stay informed about competitor products and promotional activities. Provide feedback on customer preferences and trends to the sales or marketing team.
- **Sales Reporting**:Monitor and report on sales performance, including stock levels and product movement. Track and document merchandising activities, sales figures, and customer feedback. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve product placement and increase sales.

**Qualifications**:

- High school or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales, marketing, or retail management are a plus.
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or sales is preferred.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and retail industry trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
