**Major Functions**:
**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Envision, develop and execute public engagement activities to appeal to a wide demographic in Singapore including the general public, schools and community groups.
- Monitor and administer all engagement requests from WWF internal teams, prioritize and manage a calendar of engagement activities and coordinate their execution.
- Lead our Green Cities Programme Team and support the Illegal Wildlife Trade Programme team as needed.
- Support our existing online Cyber Spotters Programme, including volunteer recruitment and training, data analysis, collaborate with relevant organisations.
- Recruit and train volunteers to support team needs (e.g. nature guiding, citizen science surveys, support at our outreach events)
- Recruit, train and supervise freelance staff and vendors as needed.
- Develop and upkeep engagement resources and collaterals to maintain accuracy and relevance for training of volunteers, freelancers and staff.
- Conduct indoor and outdoor training in a variety of settings such as large and small group facilitation and active and hands-on engagements for a broad range of target audience.
- Conduct nature guiding and biodiversity monitoring.
- Track multiple budgets and project proposals; maintain a list of service providers to execute an efficient fulfillment system.
- Manage risks to ensure smooth day to day execution of all programmes, projects and events. This includes maintaining a professional network of connections.
- Manage financial commitments and accounting for programme.
- Manage, track and ensure all partnership and donor commitments are met.
- Produce timely reports, as required to be presented to management and donors.
- Manage and safeguard intellectual property rights of proprietary materials and processes; and maintain accurate records and feedback (e.g. testimonials).
- Conduct literature review and data mining from websites or documents.
- Manage relationships with WWF international colleagues and partners for programme execution as needed.
- Liaise with the media in partnership with the communications team when required.
- Initiate and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders such as education practitioners, partner and government organisations, advocates, mentors etc.
- Perform other related duties as needed to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the Education and Outreach team.

**Profile**:
**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Science Communication or related fields
- At least 2 years or more working experience in a similar capacity
- Familiarity with local biodiversity
- Experience in collection, analysis and evaluation of data
- Understanding of, and/or experience in, public engagement, community outreach, or support related topics.
- Proficient with design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Illustrator/ Adobe Photoshop
- Keen interest in sustainability and environmental issues
- Experience managing events, campaigns and communications & marketing
- Experience in managing staff, volunteers, interns and vendors
- Knowledge and experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Proven success in the development and execution of strategies and project plans.
- Knowledge and experience of the not-for-profit sector is advantageous
- Able to work on weekends when necessary (off in lieu provided)

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- Be a self-starter with a high level of drive, able to manage the job independently and proactively
- Strong people skills both in-person and online to support community building and engagement.
- Good organisational skills with a high degree of attention to both details and deadlines.
- Advanced written and verbal English skills, along with the maturity to work in a global, multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to hire, train and supervise freelance staff as well
