Overview:
**TITLE**: Enterprise Software Sales Executive**
**Overview of Job Function**:
An Enterprise Software Sales Executive (ESE) is an individual contributor responsible for all areas of revenue generating activities in an assigned territory including both new software & services, as well as maintenance & subscription renewals. The role requires a creative, results-oriented, energetic sales professional with a passion for the job and the skills to scale the territory while delivering legendary results. While the territory is supported with strong marketing and lead generation activities, the ESE will possess strong hunting and farming sales talents. This includes the ability to create brand new opportunities, cross-sell and up-sell, drive depth and breadth while cultivating long-term corporate & personal relationships.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for all sales activities in the assigned territory
- Responsible for the strategic plan to drive growth in the assigned territory
- Demonstrate sales acumen towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and value
- Contribute to the evolving sales processes through collaborative best practices
- Expertise in positioning erwin software solutions
- Orchestration of the entire sales process utilizing both internal and external resources
- Support company growth by meeting or exceeding revenue quota goals on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Meet assigned targets for new product & services sales, as well as subscription & maintenance renewal conversion
- Management and expansion of all customer accounts within the territory
- Creation, development and maintenance of customer relationships
- Creation, development and maintenance of key partner sales representative relationships
- Accurately forecast monthly quarterly, and annual opportunities
- Work closely with the SVP of Sales for all planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Work as a team player across multiple business units, especially with Inside Sales Representatives, Pre-Sales Consultants, Channel Account Managers and Solution Strategists
Qualifications:
- **Minimum Requirements**:
- 8+ years of sales success with year-over-year individual quota attainment
- Specific experience selling data software solutions: Big Data, Data Governance, Enterprise Architecture and/or Business Process Management Solutions required
- A strong and demonstrably successful track record in software sales to across vertical markets, a strong list of executive contacts and a proven ability to generate, negotiate and close deals
- Passion for sales, marketing, and technology
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise software, SaaS and subscription experience preferred
- Experience working, collaborating and leveraging a partner ecosystem
- Exceptional relationship skills, including superb written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to thrive under tight deadlines while successfully juggling a multitude of projects simultaneously
- Extreme level of energy, highly self-motivated, and a passion for success
- Experience co-selling with various types of channel partners
- Solid understanding of software businesses and marketing ecosystems
- Experience working with a US based company
**Preferred Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus
