Sales, Distribution and Business Development plays a vital role in understanding and meeting customer needs by offering the right solutions through the right channels to the right customer segments. The team is responsible for implementing distribution strategy, driving the delivery of market leading personal banking customer experiences and thereby maximising customer satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Vice President, Head of Mortgages.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Drive the Mortgage business across WPB and GPB client segments to achieve key performance indicators
- Develop and implement the Mortgage business strategy
- Manage the development and launch of Mortgage products, including the ongoing engagement of internal centres of reference on matters related to transfer pricing, credit, risk, operations and technology
- Lead the oversight and control of the Mortgage portfolio by developing tracking mechanisms as well as controlling concentration along various risk parameters
- Drive the distribution of Mortgage products in coordination with channel managers, global sales lead and country teams across online, offline and other relevant channels
- Establish distinct offerings for the range of client needs including execution, controlled advice and discretionary solution seekers with distinctions by client segment, especially Premier and Jade clients
- Ensure a high level of compliance and control for all Mortgage, including systems platforms, oversight processes, quality checks and reporting
- Oversee local country product panels, ensure compliance with Group strategy/policies, managing approvals/changes, and monitor local country analysis of risk, performance and financial results
- Provide country input to new product design initiatives (the end to end customer journey/experience of using the product) to ensure customer needs are met most effectively
- Take on such roles and or projects as directed from time to time

- Relevant experience in local and international Mortgage Products
- Strong product management knowledge, good market/industry knowledge and proven ability to translate into product strategy formulation
- Experience of product development, designing customer journeys, and using analytics & insight to meet customer needs
- Experience of organizational leadership and commercial management of Mortgage products
- Strong leadership communication skills
- Relevant qualification in a relevant business discipline
