We are looking for an Assistant Product Development Manager to brainstorm, analyse and create new products for our guitar brands under Vista Musical Instruments. This role requires a deep passion for guitars, a keen understanding of consumer and market trends, and a desire to create new and relevant products for consumers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support all aspects of product development from ideation to eventual go-to-market launches
- Assist in the creation of new products and implementation of improvements to existing products
- Perform market research and competitive analysis
- Stay up to date on industry trends, innovations and market conditions
- Help to define the best experience around the product, which involves, but is not limited to specifications sheets creation, packaging, UI/UX and emotional/aesthetic appeal
- Assist in shaping the product roadmap, both short term and long-term
- Understand and develop user personas to inform product strategy
- Review and document prototypes
- Ensure product documentation is up-to-date, accurate and distributed to relevant stakeholders
- Oversee multiple product development projects accordingly, ensuring deadlines are met

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Product Design or Industrial Design is preferred
- Minimum of five years experience in a Product Design or Product Development role
- Technically savvy about all things guitars
- Strong conceptual and abstract thinker
- Be forward looking and sensitive to new ideas and technologies. Not afraid to innovate and challenge the norms
- Skillset to seamlessly combine research, design and strategy in their work
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally
- Ability to work across multiple time zones, collaborating with global teams
- Independent operator who can easily fit in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Very strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to hit deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to be a good representative of the company
- Willingness to travel internationally when required. This role will be based in Singapore
