**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate and Partner Solutions Marketing, the Senior Field Marketing Manager will be part of a fast-paced, fast-growing business within the Research business unit in Wiley.

As the Senior Field Marketing Manager, you will leverage your analytical, project management and demand generation skill set. You will be leading a team to build the best in class, data driven Field Marketing programs.

You will be responsible for architecting and leading the execution of field programs which will include account-based initiatives designed to engage and penetrate high value accounts. This role will be a catalyst for growth, you will be accountable for creating and influencing sales opportunities through demand gen and campaigns for targeted accounts to drive new business, cross-sell and up-sell to existing strategic accounts.

Your team will identify the right lists of target accounts, pull them into targeted campaigns, premium events, and surround them with personalized digital advertising, messaging and content. This requires having curiosity about our target audiences and why they engage with us, using a data-driven process to optimize and improve our results, and to achieve our business goals.

You will build the strategy, framework, and plan for the Field Marketing team. You are an innovative thinker who deeply understands the levers available to influence pipeline influence and knows how to partner across the sales and marketing organizations to deliver results.

**How you will make an impact**:

- Own the overall digital field marketing strategy, and work with Marketing and Sales partners in strategic planning of a blended field marketing and ABM approach to meet overall business objectives specific to lead generation of customer engagements MQLs, pipeline acceleration, and customer acquisitions.
- Set Field Marketing targets tied to business goals and tracks performance/metrics.
- Lead broad program discovery, definition, and development based on a strong digital field marketing and ABM background and planning integrated campaigns and executive communications across a variety of marketing channels.
- Translate the organizational strategic business plans into blended digital field marketing and ABM plans across 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many, supporting the share of wallet within existing and prospective customers.
- Leverage research and market data to determine ABM account focuses and ensure fits within global strategy
- Plan, develop, implement and evaluate the marketing functions against key metrics. Achieves ROI goals for marketing investment and tracks new opportunities and customers and the contribution of these to the bottom line for the business.
- Interface and work closely with sales leaders and to drive an aligned strategy and plan including identifying focus accounts, aligned campaigns and intelligence sharing.
- Improve digital field marketing and account-based strategies for campaigns, leading to increasing ROI and producing exceptional results, pulling on sight and experience in other teams.
- Analyze and provide on demand analysis to support the Sales and Marketing organization for the accounts that your team is responsible for.
- Manage and consistently deliver on multiple projects/requests from across the organization.
- Act on insight to ensure continued evolution and focus on driving pipeline results.

**What we look for**:

- Have 8+ years of experience working in B2B marketing roles, preferably in ABM, Demand Gen, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, or similar role.
- Have at least 5 years’ experience with leading teams, to run targeted demand gen programs.
- Have the ability to collaborate, build relationships, and drive results across teams (including remote colleagues) and at all levels of an organization.
- Have strong analytical skills and ability to analyse & interpret metrics around marketing performance to understand the marketing to sales pipeline funnel
- Are comfortable presenting to internal audiences in both written and verbal formats
- Are highly organized with strong project management skills including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies and risk factors
- Are capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities while giving excellent attention to detail
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field.
- Have the ability to work and deliver to a deadline with high quality work.
- Have the ability to collect input from various teams and decide optimal plan.
- Have strong team and project management and communication skills
- Have good understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Are an experienced user of sales CRM systems like Salesforce
- International travel will be required up to 15%.
- Experience in publishing, technology or applied sciences sector a plus
