**About the Roles**

We are seeking an **Accounts Officer/Accounts Assistant** to join a well-established company in the building and construction equipment sector. Based in **Aljunied**, this is a **permanent position** with a 5.25-day work week (Mondays to Fridays, 9.00am - 6.00pm; Saturdays, 8.30am - 12.30pm). The role offers a **competitive basic salary plus performance bonus**. **What You’ll Be Doing**
- Handle outgoing payments through cheques, GIRO, and telegraphic transfers.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Record monthly journal entries for AP/AR activities.
- Process invoices, perform data entry, and maintain a partial set of accounts.
- Track and reconcile petty cash transactions.
- Prepare Statements of Accounts and perform reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end closing, GST submissions, and external audit processes.
- Maintain proper filing systems and ensure documentation is accurate and organized.
- Follow established accounting standards and internal procedures.
- Support the team with other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

**What We’re Looking For**
- GCE O-Level or a Certificate in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent qualification).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting.
- Prior exposure to the building and construction equipment industry is advantageous.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and professional business communication.
- Knowledge of MYOB software will be highly regarded.
- Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Available to start immediately or with short notice.
