**OVERALL ROLE PURPOSE**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

In support of the goals listed above, the duties and responsibilities of the Supply Chain Director include, but are not limited to:

- Assists senior management in setting goals that promote company growth
- Implementation of current and future key strategic projects relating to supply chain operations
- Lead and execute the responsibilities within the Distribution division, including leading a team in a safety-first culture
- Work with Sales, Manufacturing, and other key stakeholders to develop strategies to enhance customer service levels, responsiveness, and efficiency across the supply chain
- Work cross functionally to understand business impacts and key objectives, as well as understand the commercial outputs and opportunities
- Prepares budgets, schedules, and other organizational reports as needed
- Build and develop a strategic plan based on people, process capability, and engagement, to meet set objectives
- Drives change and continuous improvement and best practices across his/hers areas of responsibility, by finding better ways to operate and challenge the status quo by optimizing what we do and how we do it by optimizing how we utilize resources via improved processes, technology, leadership and communication
- Work intimately with suppliers and key supply chain partners to reduce costs and time to deliver maximum value.
- Develop and lead projects across the supply chain and work intimately with stakeholders internally and externally to execute these projects
- Develop and manage processes with supply chain services related to the business
- Build framework across the supply chain operations
- Owns forecasting and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for the region
- maintains effective inventory management towards low inventory days (DIO) and obsolescence
- manage 3PL for accurate inventory management and deliveries

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**
- Outstanding leadership skills and experience leading a significant size team and being part of a leadership team
- Operations Management or Business Field Preferred
- At least 10-12 years of experience in a relevant field
- Experience in operating in different Asia Pac markets
- Prior Experience as a Supply Chain Leader required
- Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives
- Proficient organizational skills with the ability to (cost) effectively work on multiple projects
