Silesia Flavours Southeast Asia – Boon Lay We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Director to join our Flavor Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing supply chain and operations to ensure the seamless production and delivery of high-quality flavor products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, lead procurement efforts, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and continuously drive improvements in operational efficiency, safety and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Engage, develop and align the leaders of supply chain functions to deliver superior customer satisfaction (lead times, food safety, quality) at the best cost. Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration. Develop, maintain and execute a long-term masterplan for the production site in Singapore in line with business strategic development. Develop a supply chain organization where safety, quality, continuous improvement and flexibility are deeply embedded. Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and company standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP). Keep the organization audit-ready and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements. Business partnering: work closely with Sales and commercial functions to ensure a smooth flow of materials and information across the supply chain & deliver superior customer experience. Engage with customers as required. As a member of the APAC Management team, contribute to the overall performance and direction of the organization across Asia Pacific. Requirements Education : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience : 6-8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the flavor, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry. Some senior roles may require 7-10 years of experience with regional leadership exposure. Hands‑on experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting. Experience in managing operations with a focus on lean manufacturing and cycle‑time reduction. Skills Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross‑functional teams. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Excel, and supply‑chain management software. Expertise in industry regulations such as GMP, GDP, and cGMP. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with experience in project management and financial analysis. Understanding of sustainability reporting and certifications. Core Competencies Leadership : Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Strategic Planning : Ability to align supply chain strategies with business objectives and solve complex operational challenges. Risk Management : Ability to identify potential risks within the supply chain and take proactive steps to mitigate them. Other Requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure. High level of professionalism, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to industry standards. Willingness to travel as required for vendor meetings, audits, and operational reviews. #J-18808-Ljbffr
