The role entails new equipment introduction, risk assessment, equipment set-up & solving, release, PM, Calibration, lab audits, and continuous improvement tasks like equipment reliability enhancement, cost reduction, and equipment usage optimization. Through this role, you will enhance your technical skills in equipment management and improvement, project management, and strengthen your engagement and network with vendors and global GEL organizations across Micron sites.
**Responsibilities**
- Support GEL Equipment and lab operations including Internal and External audits, ESD and PM, Calibration, equipment maintenance, Safety and Chemical controls
- Responsible for the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of Engineering equipment Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability.
- Establishes programs and solutions for growing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the engineering process
- Provides technical support to the engineering equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with teams from a diverse set of backgrounds on equipment requirements, space planning, facilitation, purchasing, and equipment installation
- Equipment inventory controls and critical spare parts planning
- Coordinate external vendors on training, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment
- Handle external vendors' expectation, set and assess goals and achievements
- Analyze and support stakeholders’ requirements and expectations
- Develop close teamwork amongst cross functional teams
- Focus on customer needs and provide timely solutions
**Requirements**:
- Master's/bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or relevant engineering degree
- Experience with Semiconductor Equipment PM, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and packaging is an advantage
- Prior Unix, ET, JIRA, Confluence, and Tableau experience preferred
- Understanding of safety, including Ergonomics, OSHA, and Risk Assessment
- Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and data presentations
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and Project management skills
- Highly driven individual, proactive, and able to multitask and handle dynamic priorities. Good interpersonal and communication skills and a good teammate
