**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Supply Chain, the Travel Security and Safety Manager will become a member of a high performing team that identifies and leads complex, cross-functional strategic sourcing initiatives across the enterprise. The team is also responsible for the management of the travel spend category.

In this position, the Travel Security and Safety Manager will oversee the implementation of the Travel Security Standards, which require all business travel, including group travel, to be approved, risk assessed and tracked under the Group’s Travel Security and Medical Assistance program and for travelers to receive appropriate advice to reduce exposure to known, or emerging travel security risks.

The Travel Security and Safety Manager is also responsible for the management and optimization of the travel spend category. This would include air travel and overseas accommodation.

The followings are the responsibilities:

- To act as the point of contact for Group Security on matters of travel security.
- To liaise with Travel Management Company, to ensure they are utilising the approved service providers (hotels/taxi/airlines) and enforcing the BU/LBUs authorisation and travel security policies effectively.
- Notify Group Security of any travel to High security risk areas and above.
- To ensure that travellers are advised of the risks of the destinations
- To set up a framework to risk assess staff group travel and incentive travel and ensure that concentration risk is being managed
- To provide group travel information to Group Security in a timely manner
- To manage the Travel Insurance Policy and be the point of contact for any claim process
- To maintain updated listing of all travellers (both Corporate and FCs) of the locations (including hotel locations)
- Develop and maintain travel emergency protocols
- To manage service level and delivery of travel service providers such as corporate travel agency, airlines etc.
- To provide travel category management oversight and ensure PACS travel requirements are represented in Group negotiations with hotels, airlines
- To work with teams managing Group Travel for Agency or Corporate to ensure compliance to policy and that trips are properly risk assessed
- To manage and monitor all emergency incidents and report to Group Security and Resilience Team

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in tourism, travel, hospitality, business, or communications is preferred.

Work Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of previous travel management or procurement experience.
- Strong team and project management capabilities
- Strong operational business understanding
- Ability to influencing purchasing decisions and effectively negotiate complex deals
- Strong financial modelling and deal structuring skills.
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication
- Self-motivated, excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills. Ability to prioritize a wide array of initiatives
- Has an aptitude for innovation.
- High integrity and ethics.
- Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
- Ability to think strategically and tactically to ensure recommendations are appropriate and realistic
