**Job Description**:
**Primary Objective**
- Assist the Unit Head in managing day to day operations of Financial Team
- Support the implementation of bank’s projects and initiatives in the area of Financial Team
- Provide cross support to other units within Channel Operations as and when required
- Running day to day operations of Financial Team

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Unit Head to supervise and manage the daily BAU of Financial Team
- Perform Maker and/or Checker role for the processing of financial transactions
- Ensure financial transactions are processed within agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs;
- Participate in regulatory/business enablement/process improvement projects, including providing requirements, UAT testing and implementation
- Train and mentor junior and new hires in the team
- Provide cross support to other units within Channel Operations as and when required

**Qualifications**:
Formal Education:

- Degree from a recognised university or institution

Preferred Level of Experience (by Years/Function/Industry):

- Min 3 years’ experience in in Back Office / Branch operations in the Banking industry
- Min 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred

Other Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of latest banking regulatory requirements with experience in handling and managing banking operations for the processing of financial transactions (Fixed deposit, GL entries, internal fund transfer)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of electronic banking platform and operating processes
- Ability to work as a team player or individually
