Overview My client, a Singapore-based private equity investment firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join their growing team. This is a key leadership role overseeing the full spectrum of financial functions to support strategic growth, ensure robust compliance, and drive operational excellence across the firm. Reporting into the CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts, preparing accurate group consolidated financial statements, and ensuring timely month and year-end closings in compliance with IFRS, SFRS, and ideally US GAAP. You will play a key role in cost centre accounting, asset valuation, investment appraisals, and liaising with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and tax authorities. A strong understanding of risk management, credit control, tax efficiency, and internal controls (including SOX compliance) is essential. In addition, you will drive operational excellence by standardizing accounting procedures, refining internal policies, and supporting ad-hoc strategic initiatives across the group. The successful candidate should possess a degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in financial reporting standards, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure are key.
