**Overview of the Job**

We are currently looking for a Director, AdTech and Operations to join GroupM Nexus, the digital team across Search, Social, Programmatic, AdOps and our proprietary technology, [m]PLATFORM.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Advertising Technology practice and enablement across the region. You will possess advanced technical capabilities and have expert knowledge of systems and a passion for new and emerging technologies.

This role reports to the Director of Technology APAC - GroupM Nexus.

**Measures of success**:

- In 3 months: Have a thorough understanding of the Platform Services teams purpose and operations, while establishing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Gained any outstanding accreditations/certifications of relevant technologies utilised by GroupM and it’s clients.
- In 6 months: Identify an opportunity and lead a client AdTech project from definition to closure, with demonstrated value.
Develop a programme covering best practices, processes, documentation and training for AdTech team members.
- In 12 months: Establish a centre of excellence across the region while rolling out your defined programme.
Be viewed as a thought leader across advertising technologies and regularly engage with global counterparts on initiatives.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Establish best practice guidelines for AdTech teams across the region.
- Manage and optimise operations across all advertising technology processes.
- Develop and maintain team training, education and certification practices.
- Lead the creation of POV’s on topics covering AdServing, BAV, DCO, TMS, Tracking Solutions
- Participate in RFI’s, RFP’s and general assessments as required.
- Lead AdTech projects for T1 clients (eg audits, implementations, integrations)
- Act as an escalation point to AdTech team members for troubleshooting.
- Support the Head of Technology with Partner/Vendor management.
- Provide consultancy services as a strategic partner for client/agency teams.

**What you will need**:

- Degree in a relevant field (eg computer science)
- 8+ years in a hands-on technical role, in an AdTech/Martech environment.
- Demonstrated experience and certifications with platforms such as Adservers, TMS, DCO, Verification and Web Analytics.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, detail orientated, and can project manage.
- Flexibility to work in a cross-functional team but also have the initiative to problem solve independently.
- Experience in cloud computing and full-stack web development (in particular API development) will be highly regarded.
