Technical Sales Engineer

**Overview**
Goldilock is looking for a hands-on, technically capable engineer to join our growing APAC team and support the delivery, testing, and demonstration of our cybersecurity products in real-world environments.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys solving customer problems, and has both technical and interpersonal confidence. You will work closely with the senior solutions architect and UK product team to deliver successfuloutcomes for customers, particularly in critical infrastructure and OT environments.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct onsite and remote product demonstrations, proof-of-concept installations, and evaluations.
- Interface with customer engineering and IT/OT teams to explain technical aspects and assist with integration.
- Act as the technical point-of-contact for pilot deployments, including configuration, troubleshooting, and feedback collection.
- Support technical pre-sales efforts with documentation, diagrams, and basic security/compliance clarifications.
- Maintain detailed records of technical issues, feature requests, and deployment experiences for UK HQ.
- Help local partners, integrators, and VARs understand the technical deployment and maintenance of Goldilock products.
- Prepare product lab setups, testbeds, and simulated environments as needed for demonstrations and trials.
- Participate in training sessions, both giving and receiving, to ensure product knowledge remains current.
- 3-6 years in a technical role with customer-facing exposure: presales engineering, technical support, field engineering, etc.
- Hands-on experience with network security tools, routers, industrial control systems, or embedded devices.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, etc.) and secure architecture concepts.
- Ability to work independently on-site with customers and communicate effectively with both engineers and decision-makers.
- Familiarity with the OT/CNI ecosystem in Singapore and the surrounding region is a bonus.
- Commercial awareness to spot upsell opportunities and support broader business conversations.
**Nice to Have**
- Experience working in critical infrastructure, ICS/SCADA environments, or with data diodes and air-gapped networks.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or GIAC GICSP are advantageous.
- Comfortable creating basic technical diagrams, walkthrough documents, and deployment guides.
