The Strategic Marketing Manager will be responsible to set up and review the segment strategy, independently lead key strategy initiatives to ensure the business success.

**Main Responsibilities & Tasks**:

- Support the head of strategic marketing to set up the BA strategy, propose BA initiatives and strategy roadmap
- Provide expert input to the global strategy from the APAC market perspective, performing analysis including 5 forces, SWOT, competitive landscaping, market sizing, market share, and in-depth pipeline and company analysis
- Support to develop methods, identify best sources to analyze Asia's drug pipelines & adopt drug tracking, support implementation of visual management tools
- Develop and maintain market assumptions & analysis incorporated in market strategy plan
- Drive assigned initiatives forward by working cross-functionally, build customer segmentation in APAC market, together with global and APAC marketing & sales team members identify customer’s pain points through VOC and build SME network
- Develop business case with estimated business potential for solution development to meet these pain points
- Assess internal & external data for development of hypothesis, development and manage primary and secondary research for the validation of hypothesis. Demonstrate results & recommendation for strategic project
- Recommendation for inorganic growth initiatives including list of potential partners or M&A companies
- Participate in APAC Biopharm related conferences, meetings, regional industry associations and regulatory bodies, user group meetings to support above activities and network

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Master degree or above in Biopharmaceutical science or engineering, complemented by a marketing qualification (MBA or equivalent experience) would be a plus
- Minimum 5-10 years working experience in the industry, particularly in downstream processing of protein drugs with proven successful strategy cases
- Deep industry and process understanding, basic knowledge in evaluating the assets
- Fluent in English and by preference Chinese (Mandarin)
- Familiar with financial terms and good at data analysis, strong Microsoft skills particularly excel, good at presentation and communication
- Logical thinking, result driven while quickly adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges, self-motivated, team player, creative thinker
