The Registrar’s Office (RO) provides critical and central staff support to the Registrar, Student Academic & Services Department (SASD), and the University. As a unit within RO, Student Data Management Team enforces student data governance, proper usage of student data, and provides support in data analytics.

**Responsibilities**:
Data Analytics- Utilise data analytics tools and solutions including BI, AI, and ML to help streamline or solve business challenges across student administrative departments, colleges, and schools.- Drive analytics adoption and the utilization of new data technology across student administrative departments, colleges, and schools.- Drive and implement learning analytics initiatives to enhance student learning experience.- Lead, guide, enhance and expand data-driven support system.

Data Engineering- Build the required data pipelines to extract data efficiently and securely from multiple data sources and prepare these data for data analytics, including reporting, dashboards as well as AI modelling.- Build and manage data connection using Denodo platform to extract, cleanse and integrate data from various sources so that downstream data analytics tasks can be properly managed and automated, in line with the NTU Student Data Governance Policy and Framework.- Maintain and/ or finetune the models to ensure sustained performance of the models.

Data Literacy Training- Provide data literacy training to SAS community to enhance data management capabilities among administrative staff.

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Machine Learning / Data Mining / Computer Science.- Expertise and experience in AI / Machine Learning, Data Management and Database.- Competent in data integration and virtualization tools, data visualization tools, and programming languages such as Python or R.- Able to communicate effectively with business users on data-related requirements and outcomes.- Have good communication and analytical skills.- A team builder and collaborator, with the ability to relate with people at all levels of the organization.- Relevant work experience in an academic institution would be an advantage.
