We are seeking an experienced, high-performing **Overlay Sales Director** with an expertise in **data and analytics sales**, specifically within the **e-commerce and retail verticals**, to drive the growth of Bright Insights across retailers, marketplaces, and brands throughout APAC.
This IC role involves independently leading end-to-end sales while also collaborating closely with Bright Data’s regional sales teams—
bringing your product and domain expertise to support and accelerate deal closures.
This is a hands-on role focused on expanding our presence and our impact in these key verticals.
**Responsibilities**
- Take ownership of both overlay and full-cycle sales processes for Bright Insights, targeting retailers, marketplaces, and brands.
- Develop your pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals
- Use data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of your customers and prospects — their business, use cases, needs, objectives, projects, and budgets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to successfully and promptly deliver on customer requirements.
- Work with Marketing to optimize strategy for customer acquisition.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
**Requirements**:
- ** At least 5 years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience**, with a strong focus on **data / retail**and ideally also the APAC region.
- Proven success in managing and executing both remote and F2F sales cycles of $50-$500K+ in value.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
