Job Description

The incumbent will be part of the Support Units Platforms team modernising our Finance & Procurement systems in SingPost. As AVP, Finance & Procurement Platforms, you will lead the team to transform and deliver our next generation Finance & Procurement systems and deliver an improved experience to our employees.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance & Procurement Platforms team and oversee all technology operations and delivery to ensure service levels are met
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design and deliver business objectives
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and streamline / optimize processes to promote efficiencies
- Perform demand management to facilitate in prioritization and selection of work, challenging and proposing alternate solutions to the business as necessary
- Review and ensure business requirement and technical specifications are adequately documented and signed-off
- Drive project plans and implementation through internal team or partners
- Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget, with proper risk management
- Serve as the IT Business Partner and a trusted technology advisor to the Finance & Procurement stakeholders
- Manage external partners and its relationships to deliver positive outcome for SingPost
- Direct the team to stay current with industry trends, technology developments and best practices
- Contribute to overall Support Units Platforms strategy and roadmap
- At least 12 years of experience in IT delivery or consulting, with minimum 5 years experience in implementing or supporting Finance ERP systems and minimum 3 years managing a team. Hands-on experience supporting (including design and configuration) three or more of the following ERP modules GL AR & AP Financial Reporting Asset Management Cost Accounting Tax Treasury
- Good working knowledge of closing and FP&A, as well as understanding of finance or controlling processes and best practises
- Involved in at least 1 full cycle ERP implementation or upgrade in the last 3 years
- Comfortable with managing stakeholders (middle to senior management)
