Business Development Associate

The Business Development (BDev) Associate is in-charge for managing location stocking level & product mix while maintaining relationship with our clients and handle clients’ complaints effectively.
He/She is responsible for tailoring a client’s catalogue, managing a client’s stocking level and monitoring the competitor landscape to support development of growth strategies. He/She will also support the acquisition of business through performing lead generation and follow-up of qualified leads. He/she will support the achievement of growth target by maintaining a strong relationship with the client and through his engagement with client’s in the form of enquiries and feedbacks.
He/She must be Innovative and resourceful, and keeps one self’s informed of the organisation's products and services as he sources new opportunities both locally and regionally. He leverages such knowledge to tailor solutions which meet clients' requirements. He commutes extensively to maintain rapport with potential and existing clients and to close sales leads.
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor competitor landscape and customer demand to provide market intelligence for strategy development
- Conduct market profiling to identify potential market segments and buyer profiles
- Analyse channels to guide achievement of growth performance
- Support growth objectives by initiate working-level relationships with networks and leads
- Improve relationship with existing clients to increase size of business
- Follow up & coordinate leads on potential clienteles
- Conduct negotiation of business agreements
- Perform follow-up actions to close new clients, including collaborating with Finance and Operations Department for payment & fulfilment activities
- Assist in the analysis of client profiles to enhance channel performance and product offerings
- Consolidate information on clientele requirements
- Coordinate programme activities to drive acquisition targets
**Essential Requirements**
- Diploma and/or experience in Supply Chain or FMCG or Retail
- Good relationship management skills
- Data driven and analytical mindset
- Good Communication skills
- Good Creative Thinking skills
- Decision Making skills
**Desirable to have**
- Prior experience as an account manager
**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
