**Position Summary**:
As a Staff Equipment Engineer for Laser Scribing, Mechanical Break and Laser Lift Off within the Diefab and TFFC manufacturing process, you will be responsible for leading efforts to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency. Your role will encompass managing a team of equipment technicians, overseeing fault investigations, optimizing machine performance, and ensuring throughput targets are met. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment spare parts, reviewing maintenance controls and procedures, lead department level equipment performance optimization, cost reduction initiatives and obsolescence mitigation.

**What You Will Do**:

- **Lead OEE Improvements**:Drive initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by identifying and addressing equipment performance bottlenecks and downtime issues.
- **Drive Cost Reduction**:Identify opportunities to reduce costs related to equipment parts, maintenance, and operations while maintaining high-quality standards.
- **Manage AE/Techs**(shift works, payroll, training and bridge to Manager and HR)
- **Continuous Equipment Improvements**: Implement strategies at department level for ongoing equipment enhancements, including upgrades, modifications, obsolescence mitigation to meet production goals in both short term and long term.
- **Mentor Equipment Folks**:Mentor and lead a team of equipment engineers, associations and technicians in fault investigations, troubleshooting equipment issues.
- **Spare Parts Management**:Maintain an inventory of critical equipment spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure the availability of necessary components.
- **Review Maintenance Controls and Procedures**:Evaluate and improve maintenance controls and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.
- **Other Duties**:Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the manager to support the overall success of the department.

**What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications)**:

- Experience in Laser Scribe, Laser Lift Off, Mechanical Break processes within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge in Database (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and programming;
- Education (Minimum Level) _
- Bachelor's
- Field of Study _
- Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical/Computer Science
- Years of Experience (Minimum) _
- 10+ years

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Equipment Platform Expertise: ASM/ALSI Laser 1205, Disco Laser Scribe/Stealth Dicing, JPSA or IPG Laser Lift-OFF (Lithographic equipment experience will be seen as relevant)
- Application experience in SECS-GEM configuration for process monitoring and data extraction.
- Experience in dashboard/report creation with Power BI;
- SPC Knowledge: Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and Six Sigma Green Belt certification is desirable, demonstrating your commitment to quality and process improvement
