Who You Are: You are a detail-oriented and hands-on engineer with a strong background in WET related process (WET Bench, SRD, Spin Chamber) who takes pride in keeping equipment running at peak performance. With a strong analytical mindset, you enjoy diving deep into equipment issues, uncovering root causes and are able to resolve complex tool issues independently. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and thrive when collaborating with cross-functional teams. You take initiative to lead improvement projects (e.g., tool uptime, cost down, quality enhancement). You're proactive in mentoring technicians and junior engineers. You are committed to continuous improvement, both in systems and in yourself. Position Summary: As a Staff Equipment Engineer for PEC (Photo Electrical Chemical etching), cleaning wet bench and WSS (Wafer Support System) within the Diefab and TFFC manufacturing process, you will be responsible for leading efforts to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency. Your role will encompass managing a team of equipment technicians, overseeing fault investigations, optimizing machine performance, and ensuring throughput targets are met. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment spare parts, reviewing maintenance controls and procedures and driving cost reduction initiatives. Additionally, you will be involved in Engineering automation projects, support on new engineering systems (applications) implementation to drive productivity improvement and error proofing, at same time maintain existing system under care by Engineering department. What You Will Do: Lead OEE Improvements: Drive initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by identifying and addressing equipment performance bottlenecks and downtime issues. Drive Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs related to equipment parts, maintenance, and operations while maintaining high-quality standards. Continuous Equipment Improvements : Implement strategies for ongoing equipment enhancements, including upgrades, modifications, obsolescence mitigation to meet production goals in both short term and long term. Mentor Equipment Folks : Mentor and lead a team of equipment engineers, associations and technicians in fault investigations, troubleshooting equipment issues. Spare Parts Management : Maintain an inventory of critical equipment spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure the availability of necessary components. Review Maintenance Controls and Procedures : Evaluate and improve maintenance controls and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan. Manage Engineering Automation Systems : Support in new application development and Sustain all existing system including (application for PM, P R, Passdown, FDC and etc.)Other Duties : Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the manager to support the overall success of the department. Qualifications Required Qualifications : Experience in Wet Cleaning/Wet Etching processes within the semiconductor industry. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science Years of Experience (Minimum) : 7 - 9 years Preferred Qualifications Experience in PLC (Omron, Mitsubishi) program lookup, modification is advantageous Application experience in SECS-GEM configuration for process monitoring and data extraction.
