**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor Site Environmental Control Programmes (SECP) in compliance with NEA regulations.
- Prepare and submit Site Environmental Control Reports (SECR) to the occupier of the construction site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify environmental issues, ensuring adherence to environmental health standards.
- Advise construction site contractors on environmental remediation measures and best practices.
- Facilitate compliance with environmental laws and regulations, liaising with NEA and other relevant authorities as necessary.
- Educate workers on maintaining good environmental health standards through training and awareness programs.
- Manage construction sites to ensure environmental control measures are effectively implemented.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for environmental public health requirements, including permits, method statements, reports, audits, and monitoring results.
- Monitor and verify that environmental impacts are minimized during the planning, design, and construction phases of projects.
- Assist project teams in ensuring all environmental authorizations are obtained and maintained.
- Conduct surveillance, monthly inspections, and detailed audits to ensure compliance with environmental policies and standards.
- Maintain a regular photographic record of the site from fixed points and document all environmental incidents.
- Inspect and report on environmental incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental control within the construction industry.
- Registered as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with the National Environment Agency (NEA).
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to the construction industry in Singapore.
- Ability to conduct inspections and audits, producing thorough, readable, and informative reports.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage public communication and address complaints effectively.
- Proficiency in maintaining site documentation and records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in civil engineering construction works.
- Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
- Possession of safety-related certifications such as Work at Heights, Certified Occupational First Aider.
