**What the role is**
- The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serves as the regulatory and developmental authority for the early childhood (EC) sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children’s development below the age of 7, across both kindergartens and childcare centres. ECDA is an autonomous agency jointly overseen by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and is hosted under the Ministry of Social and Family Development.
The Child Development (Early Intervention) Department at ECDA oversees a continuum of services for young children (aged 6 years and below) with developmental needs to ensure a good start for every child. The Department plans and develops early intervention (EI) programmes in preschools and the community, drives capability development initiatives for early childhood and early intervention professionals, conducts research and evaluation to improve programme design and practices, and ensures efficient and effective EI services.

**What you will be working on**
- You will drive the following key areas:

- Refine current referral and placement process to expedite placement of children with DN to Early Intervention services. This involves working with stakeholders to streamline assessment, referral and placement protocols to facilitate right-siting of children into appropriate EI programmes in a timely manner.
- Develop an enhanced active case referral and placement management processes with close monitoring of placement rates of prioritised groups and regional case meetings outcomes, in partnership with SG Enable and EI operators, to facilitate placements.

This portfolio provides good exposure to both ops-policy making and implementation. Frequent stakeholder engagement will also provide opportunities to build a network of partners which will help hone engagement and communication skills.

**What we are looking for**
- Previous experience in programme implementation and/or programme/process redesign will be an advantage.
- Pro-active and able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills
- Detailed-oriented, meticulous.
- Strong analytical skills, and excellent written and spoken communication skills to present views clearly and persuasively.
- Good team player with good interpersonal skills to work across teams and build consensus with diverse stakeholders (both private and public sector).
