**About the Roles**

We are looking for a Cost Accountant to join a dairy manufacturing company located in Pioneer. Transport is conveniently provided from Jurong East bus terminal. This is a permanent role with a Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:45am to 5:30pm. The position offers a comprehensive package that includes **basic salary, AWS, and performance bonus**, providing both stability and rewarding career growth.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Carry out product costing, including standard cost setup and regular updates.
- Ensure accuracy of cost allocation through standard costing activities.
- Contribute to budgeting, annual operating plans, and periodic forecasts.
- Collaborate with Production teams on volume planning, inventory accounting, and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Work with R&D on costing for new products and formulations.
- Validate production postings promptly to support accurate financial results.
- Review and analyze production variances, investigating differences between actual and standard costs.
- Monitor inventory reports to highlight and address excess or obsolete stock.
- Prepare monthly reports, KPIs, and operational analyses for management review.
- Support Operations in driving process improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle counts, reconciling differences with system records.
- Oversee month-end close activities, including journal entries for inventory, accruals, goods-in-transit, and adjustments.
- Maintain bills of materials (BOM), item master data, and perform cost revaluations.
- Assist with audits and provide information for external queries.
- Take on additional projects or tasks as required.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of costing experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
- A collaborative team player who can manage deadlines and perform under pressure.
- Proficiency in ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.
