**Tasks and Responsibilites**
- To assist HSE Manager in the implementation, review and improvement of yard’s Safety Management System to maintain a safe and healthy working environment in the yard premises.
- To assist HSE Engineer in establishing responsibility levels for HSE Staff.
- To enforce on compliance of all Fire safety related legislations.
- To ensure fire safety requirements are complied onboard and in the yard premises.
- To lead HSE Officers in firefighting, rescue and oil pollution control operations.
- To serve as a secretary of VSSC meeting for SB/SR projects.
- To organise and conduct first aid & rescue related training to all HSE and yard staff.
- To ensure that all activities are carried out safely as per the HSE Management system.
- To organize Safety Induction Program for staff & subcontractors.
- To assist HSE Engineer to plan and execute In-house HSE training program.
- To assist HSE Engineer to promote safety awareness & culture amongst the workforce through trainings and other HSE activities.
- Conduct proper inspection, receipt, storage and issuance of HSE equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and replenishment of HSE equipment.
- In charge of monitoring and issuance of permit to work system.
- To provide first aid treatment in the yard in times of emergency.
- To ensure that all health and hygiene related requirements are compiled on board and in the yard premises.
- To ensure that all rescue and first aid equipment are maintained periodically.

**Job Requirements**
- At least 3-5 years of SCDF Experience on Emergency.
- GCE ‘O’ levels qualifications or above and possess Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
