[What the role is]

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCE (SCHOLARSHIP)

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the Scholarship Team which oversees the selection and management of pre-service scholars and award holders.

As part of the team, you will lead the policy review and oversee operations in the area of selection (e.g. short-listing and interview of potential scholars) and scholars’ management (e.g. providing advice to scholars in the area of academics and overseeing administrative matters pertaining to scholars). You will also be engaging industry partners to create internship opportunities for the scholars and award holders. You will work closely with the Public Transport Operators to develop and implement talent attraction schemes under the Rail Manpower Development Package and ensure that the disbursement of funding is in accordance with the guidelines.

[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification in any discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in scholarship selection and management
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to think creatively outside of the box
