Deputy Director, Legal Vehicles (Regulation & Licensing) Join to apply for the (LTA-LGL) DEPUTY DIRECTOR, LEGAL VEHICLES (REGULATION & LICENSING) role at Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore What the role is Deputy Director, Legal Vehicles (Regulation & Licensing) provides legal services to LTA policy and operations divisions. You will lead a team of lawyers delivering timely and practical solutions for emerging and dynamic land transport issues. You will work closely with policy and operations divisions giving legal advice on policy formulation and implementation, developing new legislation, leveraging existing regulatory powers or advising on development and operational matters. The team researches, prepares and renders opinions, drafts contracts and other legal documents, and generally advises on LTA’s regulatory and licensing function. As Deputy Director you will manage the team and be the effective bridge between staff officers and senior management. What you will be working on Advisory and project management responsibility across a broad range of legal subjects Provide legal advice that is accurate, effective and practical on a wide range of policies Provide quick and effective responses to queries by senior management relating to matters under the division’s purview Participation in other projects as required What we are looking for Tertiary qualification in Law Qualified Person under the Legal Profession Act 1966 or called to the Singapore Bar Minimum 10 years Post Qualification Experience Experience in regulatory and policy work Experience in working with Ministries and Statutory Boards Pro‑active, solution and service‑oriented mindset Positive attitude, self‑motivated, willing to learn and collaborative Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills Able to nurture and inspire team members Seniority level: Not Applicable Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Legal #J-18808-Ljbffr
