**What the role is**

LEGAL COUNSEL, VEHICLES (SERVICES & INFRASTRUCTURE)

**What you will be working on**

You will provide legal services to LTA’s policy and operations divisions engaging in a diverse spectrum of land transport matters from implementing LTA’s EV Vision, to regulating private vehicles and implementing Singapore’s international commitments relating to land transportation.
You will be part of a team of lawyers working on emerging and disruptive land transport technology to deliver creative and workable solutions to matters of national and public interest. You will work closely with policy and operations divisions to advise on policies that are being formulated and work with them to achieve the intended outcome, whether it is through developing new legislation or leveraging on existing regulatory powers or advising on development and operations matters. You will also be required to research, prepare and render opinions, draft contracts and other legal documents, and generally advise on LTA’s contractual risks and obligations.
As a member of this Division, you will be shaping the next frontier of transport by playing a key role in providing legal support in realising LTA’s vision for a more sustainable future and transport system.

**What we are looking for**
- Tertiary qualification in Law
- Qualified Person under the Legal Profession Act 1966 or called to the Singapore Bar
- Pro-active, solution and service-oriented mind set
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, willing to learn, collaborative and a team player
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
