Global Security Operations Center Associate Manager

This position will drive operational continuity and manage our vendor performance through a set of Service Level Agreements and will seek to increase the ongoing capability of the Global Security Operations Center. Operating as a generalist, this position will oversee operations that focus on Dispatch & Alarm monitoring, Protective Services, Tactical Intelligence, Communications Support, and intaking and analyzing risks to the People, Assets, and Reputation of Facebook. The operation that this position will oversee is part of a team of skilled individuals that share in the 24x7 nature of operations, including on call, after hours Crisis Management coordination. In conjunction with partner Global Security Teams, this position will have a direct input into any and all Incident, Emergency, and Crisis Management responses within the Global Security remit.

**Global Security Operations Center Associate Manager Responsibilities**:

- Utilizes critical thinking skills to develop and execute project tasks
- Identifies critical interest areas and develops strategies for improvement
- Develops relationships with multiple business partners, internal and external
- Maintains project integrity by performing quality assurance functions
- Researches, evaluates, and applies industry emergency management standards to support strategic initiatives and project work
- Develops and updates communications materials for strategic projects
- Provides intelligence, resource, and tactical recommendations to leadership during crisis situations
- Provides key business partners with information and recommendations to assist in the development of training and communication supporting all areas of security operations
- Collaboratively prioritize new and existing business initiatives, which focus on consistent and efficient Global Security operations
- Communicates initiative status and feedback to managers, key stakeholders, and management throughout the organization
- Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement technical/systems enhancement opportunities
- Frequently engage with vendors to understand systems capabilities/limitations leverage knowledge gained to improve GSOC operational capabilities
- Evaluate proposed software solutions to assist in the procurement process
- Solidify organizational relationships with other Global Security teams, and other stakeholder organizations
- Available to serve in an on-call capacity to manager incident/crisis response
- Travel to other office locations could be required

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Experience with leading and coordinating personnel and projects in a corporate environment
- Experience with critically analyzing complex information and data sets
- Experience with collaborating with partners outside of your organization
- Possesses planning, organizational, and motivational skills
- Experience in Microsoft/Google suite products including developing presentations such as PowerPoint

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in fast-paced environment and resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
- Knowledge about international events, with a focus on real world events and their potential impacts
- Security or analytical experience, specifically an understanding of risk, intelligence, crisis management & response, and operations centers and models
- Experience meeting multiple, competitive deadlines, and taking ownership of strategic and large-scale projects from start to finish without management oversight
- Experience in leading large vendor teams
