**Roles & Responsibilities**
**Overview**
To manage the bed capacity of the organisation in providing bed allocation according to patient’s needs and choice of class based on urgency and type of admission.
Coordinate with various parties like the ambulance providers, nursing team and service associates for ambulance arrangement to fetch/send patients from/to hospitals, home and nursing home.
Ensuring communication between all parties involved in the process in bed planning and ambulance coordination is clear.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for providing bed allocation services and administrative duties in BMU
- To be able to identify potential bed tight situation and activate bed tight measures
- To be able to identify potential bed tight situation and activate bed tight measuresy special requirements are communicated correctly
- To coordinate and liaise with various parties to arrange ambulance transfer and ensure any special requirements ar communicated correctly
- To assist in collating statistics of bed request and ambulance transfers
- To answer phone calls in bed enquiries and respond to or follow up on bed/transfer requests and ambulance arrangements
- To assist in the preparation of management reports and provide statistics as and when required
- Provide administrative support
- Involve and engaged in ad-hoc projects
- Assist in preparation of materials related to bed planning and ambulance services
**Job Requirements**
- GCE O levels/A levels/Diploma from any discipline
- Prior healthcare experience will be added advantage
- Able to think on the move and, preferably, with good analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency Microsoft Office and Computer skills
- Able to communicate in mandarin language
