Cyberspace Liaison Officer

**Duties**: 1. As CDRUSCYBERCOM's especially appointed representative, serves as the forward manager of the Command's relationship, including all strategic planning initiatives conducted in collaboration with a key partner nation and its government elements with cyberspace involvement. 2. Leads investigation of strategic issues affecting all phases of cyberspace operations, thereby enabling USCYBERCOM enterprises, facilitating a two-way flow of information between the Command and the key partner nation's cyberspace program community, and providing expert insights to resolve tactical operational or policy issues that could impede effective collaboration to address real-time contingencies of shared interest. 3. As a recognized functional and programmatic SME, contributes substantively to the content of joint mission analysis, as well as development of cyberspace strategies, plans, and COAs. 4. Leads and hosts numerous visits per year, including an average of four Commander and/or Senior Leadership visits annually, to facilitate collaboration with the key partner nation's government elements with cyberspace involvement. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - U.S. Citizenship Required - All new CES employees are required to complete a three-year CES trial period - The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counter intelligence scope polygraph exam - TRAVEL AND RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL BE PAID in accordance with the JTR AND AFMAN 36-606. - Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide - This position has been designated by the Air Force (AF) as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to (continued) - The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1 - The employee may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime - Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft - The incumbent must be willing and able to work extended core hours (due to 7-hour time difference in work schedules). It is critical the Command staff be aware of the incumbent?s schedule and how he/she can be contacted (continued) - at all times to assure ready availability to address real-time operational contingencies - The incumbent must be willing and able to frequently work six-days per week due to possible alternative weekend schedules. - Incumbent will be expected to complete pre-PCS training courses, including language (as required by assignment), security, weapons training, communications security (COMSEC) custodian, agency orientations, and mission (continued) - briefings, as required based on the assignment - It is desired that the incumbent have previous experience living and working overseas, and highly desired that he/she has achieved Foreign Disclosure Officer Qualification and Joint Planning Military Education and/or Joint Planning Qualification - Recruitment Incentive may be authorized for this position. The GG-15 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Expert" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-15 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.** **SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE**:Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position.
