The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), founded in 1926, is the world-governing body of the sport of table tennis with 226 member Associations in the world. The ITTF supervises the staging of World Championships annually, and several other world title events. Around 120 international tournaments are sanctioned by the ITTF yearly. Its main function is to govern and develop the sport for the benefit of over thirty million competitive players in all parts of the world.

Table Tennis is an Olympic and Paralympic sport and is in the programme of the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as of all Multisport Games.

The ITTF is seeking a Head of Education to design, build and develop education programmes covering aspects of table tennis for the ITTF that will also assist in the development of ITTF's Member Associations' education programmes.

THE ITTF GROUP: The ITTF Group consists of three entities, namely:

- The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF)
- World Table Tennis (WTT) and the
- ITTF Foundation

The ITTF GROUP plays a consultative and supportive role in the operations and performance of all functions across all three entities with a focus on the management of ITTF related matters.

**LOCATION**: The position will be based in the ITTF Asia-Pacific offices in Singapore. Applicants should be willing to work as required rather than regular office hours, due to the nature of the work required for the job.

**MANAGER**: The ITTF Head of Education will report to the Group Chief Financial Officer.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITY**: The successful applicant will have the responsibility to design, build and develop an overarching education program covering various aspects of the ITTF, and table tennis in general to also assist in the development of ITTF’s Member Associations' education programmes. Inclusive of educational programs for Table Tennis specific areas such as coaching and officiating, as well as business growth areas such as event management and professional development of staff and administrators.

**DUTIES**:

- Develop an overall curriculum structure that meets best practices across the various educational courses to be developed and where possible, standardise content and teaching methodologies throughout the curriculum framework and teaching pedagogy;
- Design and manage the database of educational results, and subscription structure that incentivises on-going and continued learning of all participants;
- Manage educational projects and objectives arising from the ITTF Strategic Plan, to help build and oversee the ITTF Learning Management System platform, in close cooperation with the IT department;
- Design course structures that are purely online, as well as blended learning opportunities - in particular for table tennis specific education, such as coaching and officiating;
- Determine overall suitability of expanding course reach to areas that may not be exclusive to table tennis, such as operational and administrational based courses;
- Develop, or coordinate with relevant stakeholders, the syllabus and delivery methods of the courses for the different profiles and/or target groups;
- Analyse relevant data and feedback provided to revise and improve content and course effectiveness;
- Conduct regular review sessions to confirm the appropriateness of each course, and determine when significant reviews should be undertaken to update and enhance the courses;
- Conduct research and stay informed on the latest examination trends, as well as online learning enhancements;
- Coordinate the translations (when applicable) of the educational resources and the training of experts and conductors for when face-to-face learning is applicable;
- Assist in the production of videos and other materials that support the various educational courses;
- Develop and sustain a long-term brand approach which helps to put the educational efforts of the ITTF at the forefront of international sports organisations;
- Identify and manage the cooperation with formal education providers, i.e. academic institutions (Universities, High Schools etc.) that act as external educational partners for the various educational courses;
- Evaluate the educational programs and assess their outcomes and prepare adequate reports to stakeholders;
- To undertake other tasks as may reasonably be delegated by the CFO

- Relevant tertiary education in Education, Sports Management and/or Business;
- Five years’ experience working within an educational and/or training field;
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, particularly in the English language;
- Strong organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects;
