
Education Consultant

The Education Consultant serves as the point of contact between Newcastle Australia IHE and prospective students. The incumbent identifies and coach prospective students on the University of Newcastle’s course curriculum and supports students by providing information and assistance with course prospectus and eligibilities. The Education Consultant is required to ensure revenue target achievement.
**Responsibilities**
**Sales and Marketing**
- Perform all sales activities to both new and existing students, actively seek, follow up and close on sales leads. Liaise closely with students to address all course inquiries (i.e.; walk-in/online platforms) with closure.
- Engage in effective sales pitch through familiarising with University of Newcastle curriculum and programe.
- Arrange appointments with students, Head of Departments, HR Managers, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling.
- Make presentations to prospective students, promote University of Newcastle courses, introduce and explain curriculum information to prospective students. Win new students, as well as developing long-term relationships with existing ones, by building and maintaining positive working relationships with students
- Identify and recommend on course curriculum that are tailored to student’s needs and objectives. Collect and review quality feedback from students to improve sales
- Coordinate with Marketing Manager to ensure smooth process for student registration and enrolment. Monitor the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns
- Develop new avenues of business with existing & new students / business partners. Conduct market research and organise marketing activities and campaigns in the region
- Work alongside with the management to achieve individual and overall team enrolment targets. Attain, and where possible, exceed, annual sales targets
- Participate in roadshows, career fairs / exhibitions and workshops
**Program Management**
- Plan, execute and manage programe effectively
- Coordinate with programe lead for manpower, logístical, programe schedule as well as administrative needs for all programes represented
- Communicate expectation of students to programe lead and lecturers
- Assist students with administrative support for programe delivery
- Conduct post programe/event reviews
- Reporting and Recommendations
- Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the sales team and propose future targets
- Keep up to date with the latest training programes in the market, and interpret, present and discuss this intelligence during schedule meetings
- Analyse sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively allocated
- Keep up to date with new developments in policies and industry landscape, anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt strategy accordingly
**Desired Skills and Experience**
Market Research, Sales, Microsoft Office, verbal communication skills, social media, Interpersonal Skills, Financial Transactions, Administration, Adaptable, commercial acumen. Able to work on flexible hours. Past experience in private education institution and knowledge of EduTrust process an advantage.
**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
