Summary

The incumbent will be based in Singapore office.

He / She will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
The Resource Centre Cost Controller will partner the Resource Centre Managers to ensure that cost control activities are undertaken in accordance with company standards and procedures. The position will also provide guidance to the Resource Centre Managers relating to cost control, analysis and reporting.

About the role:

- Develop and maintain standard resource centre cost control processes and procedures.
- Ensure all costs directly attributable to the resource centres are tracked and correctly recorded in the correct cost centres in IFS.
- Develop and prepare monthly analysis reports on Resource Centre Performance (e.g. profit and loss, equipment and personnel utilisation, over/under recovery etc.)
- Ensure that variances are communicated to the Management to enable corrective actions to be taken when and where necessary.
- Assist in preparation of annual resource centre budgets.
- Working with the Business Controllers to develop equipment and personnel charge out rates based on historical analysis of utilisation and costs.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual resource center CAPEX budgets, submission of the CAPEX requests for approvals and assisting in the preparation of business cases and ROI analysis for major CAPEX investments.
- Perform ad hoc analysis or scenario analysis at request to support decision making.

About you:

- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and/or financial management.
- 5-8 years relevant experience in cost control.
- Effective communicate across different function groups and with senior management.
- Proactive personality with the ability to identify risks and opportunities and provide remedial action.
- Positive approach to work.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexible to change.
- Excellent numeracy and Microsoft Excel skills with regards to data analysis
- Experience with ERP system preferred (e.g. IFS)
