**Cost Control Manager Job Summary**

We are currently seeking an experienced, thorough, and insightful Cost Control Manager to oversee cost management for our entire company. In this role, you will work collaboratively with various department managers to analyze costs, assess vendor relationships, and maximize profitability. To succeed in this position, you will demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, with a deep commitment to the bottom line without compromising quality.

**Cost Control Manager Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assess all incoming products, resources, and services to ensure the best price.
- Maintain vendor and service provider relationships
- Remain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costs
- Keep up to date on new vendors and possible cost-cutting partnerships
- Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost
- Collaborate with department heads to strategize ways to minimize waste
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers
- Understand the entire arc of the business and how productivity impacts profitability
- Commit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality
- Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures
- Present new strategies and assessments to stakeholders in a compelling fashion
- Educate and persuade stakeholders to procure buy-in and cooperation
- Roll out clear cost-saving programs with timelines and assessment goals
- Responsible for controlling and monitoring total expenditure including verifying and checking invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Provide planning and cost controlling support for all which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc.
- Perform and manage activity scheduling and monitoring.
- Ensure effective implementation and utilize productive reports with the use of management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing, and delivery.
- Prepare monthly movement report for the monitoring of the activities daily and register all downtime, consumptions and related issues relating to the promptly to the management.
- Coordinate and work with the management team to resolve issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the work.
- Attend meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients.
- Perform costing-related reporting to the team and management’s review monthly to ensure that expenditures are kept within the budget. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.

**Cost Control Manager Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Degree in Management with specialization in Management or Cost Control related training.
- Proven record of 6+ years relevant and similar capacity in estimating and cost controlling in the industry.
- Technically strong in cost planning, scheduling, and reporting.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous
- Possess good background and technical writing ability and skills.
- Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with good initiative.
- Independent worker who can work well with mínimal supervision.
- Fast worker with ability to work well under stress.
