**Location**: This is a remote role based in Southeast Asia

**What you will do**:

- Collaborate with the Product and the Design teams to transform wireframes, user stories, and mockups into high-quality, efficient code
- Develop pixel-perfect, smooth UIs for both Android and iOS
- Diagnose and solve bugs and performance bottlenecks for native-like performance
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
- Monitor the live app's performance and make code and user experience improvements as needed
- Develop and empower your team through consistent and honest feedback, training, knowledge sharing and code reviews.
- Take charge and actively participate in scrum meetings, sprint planning and implementation
- Work with QA on automated and manual testing to ensure that each app release is always worthy
- Keeping up with technology changes in the mobile app development space and leveraging them when appropriate
- Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical fixes

**Technical Requirements**:
**Must have**:

- 2+ years of experience in developing React Native apps
- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, with familiarity with ES6 newer specifications
- Familiarity with modern development tools, including git, npm, prettier, eslint, metro, babel, Jira, and bitbucket

**Good to have**:

- 2+ years of experience in developing native Android or native iOS apps
- Proficient in Java/Kotlin or Objective-C/Xcode
- Familiarity with data fetching and caching hook libraries, such as react-query or SWR
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle
- Working knowledge of Microsoft App Center CodePush

**Desired soft skills and attributes**:

- Strong command of English and good communication skills
- Team player and a hands-on engineer.
- Self-awareness and a desire to improve continually
- Hungry for learning and always up-to-date with new technologies

**What to look out for**:

- Experience in developing ReactJS apps is a bonus but not required
