High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required. **Job Overview**: The **Senior **Solution Architect - Market Management (MMS) **is focused on the Pre-Sales Engineering activities across Asia Pacific for the **GE Digital Grid** business. The role is fully aligned to the Commercial and Customer engagement processes for the overall Grid Software Commercial effort to ensure attainment of growth targets. The Senior Solution Architect, MMS reports to the APAC Regional Solution Architect Leader, and manages the GE Digital Grid Sales Solution opportunities in partnership with the Sales, Commercial Operations, Services and Support functions of APAC Digital Grid, with primary focus on growing software orders and revenue specific to the APAC Market Management System developments. This Senior Solution Architect, MMS will work closely with the Commercial teams in their respective focus areas. The role provides technical and strategic presales support, and strategic input into the sales process, and assists with closure plans. The Senior Solution Architect, MMS will also align with the Global Market Management Product group to help define the right solution offerings and methodologies combined with the GE Digital and Partner Software portfolio. The offerings created and brought to the market will be supported by an Outcome Selling approach and Solution Architecture processes, tools, and best practices. **Job Summary** In this role you will: - Lead and coordinate the MMS technical design relative to current and future customer tenders and requests and solve their business problems. - Analyse, design and develop an MMS customer roadmap and implementation plan based upon all relevant data points such as business needs, appetite for change, and technical capabilities. - Lead and constantly evaluate and validate the customer solution, in POC, sales and tenders. - Work with multiple internal stakeholders including product unit and local deployment teams to ensure end to end scope and quality coverage. - Contribute to the development of solutions that are customer-focused, scalable, with reusable components and that can be orchestrated together or with other world-class products in adjacent domains. - Lead research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to drive product evolution. i.e. Cyber and Cloud hosted solutions. - Interact and collaborate with software OEMs and influence their roadmap where appropriate to meet our products and customer’s needs. **Technical Expertise**: - Participates in product strategy development by considering product technical roadmap, opportunity identification, value cases and anticipated or planned GE business innovation and transformation. - Leads customer alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level; Analyses, designs, and develops a technical solution roadmap and supports the implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business. - Fundamental knowledge of comparative long-term business implications for various configuration options and in line with multi-business unit solution configurations. - Knowledgeable of full range of MMS solution catalog within a business unit and able to discuss overall technical solution at depth. - Reviews and/or analyzes business requirements at domain level, aligning with current and planned solutions. Continually assesses requirements and anticipates the impact on the product backlog - Is the lead technical contributor to the domain’s governance process and continually works to improve. - Leads teams in technical and product developing plans to deliver complex solutions. - Able to lead early-stage customer interactions; and guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with "Axis" approaches to integrate or transition from their legacy and or bespoke investments. - Understands the strengths and weaknesses of the competitive MMS offerings and can discuss architecturally. **Business** **Acumen**: - Discovers, builds, proposes, and wins deals based on delivering impactful business outcomes for customers and Champions at team selling. - Possesses deep customer knowledge of the business lifecycle and cost/revenue models and can illustrate how GE impacts the lifecycle through long-term builds, c-suite relationships with customers that creates value through identifying outcomes that change expectations. - Creat
