The role is responsible for attracting prospective students through various activities like attending industry events, college fairs, corporate/alumni membership events, managing campus tours, and delivering information sessions. He/she also advises students on academic and career options, guide them through the admissions and enrollment process, and manage communications and recruitment data. Key responsibilities also involve implementing marketing strategies, managing relationships with educational partners, and ensuring a smooth integration for new students.
Duties/Responsibilities:· Represent the Institute and manage Student Recruitment team participation at international student recruitment-based events.
· Lead student recruitment and marketing campaigns to build awareness and engagement. Convert international student recruitment leads into enrolments, achieving student recruitment targets.
· Propose, align and implement with Marketing Communications department on localized or digital campaigns, recruitment drives, and marketing events.
· Establish, develop and nurture strong partnerships with student recruitment agencies, institutions, and key accounts and agents to build pipelines for international student recruitment.
· Implement and oversee student recruitment policies, procedures, and processes.
· Analyze and report the effectiveness of student recruitment and marketing strategies in monthly, and quarterly reports.
· Work closely with student admissions and various departments across the institute to ensure a seamless connection with prospective students, alumni, and partners.
· Ensure the effective organization of workshops, and/or campus familiarization tours for agents, prospective students, and parents.
· Ensure accuracy and timeliness of communications to parents and students of new Initiative programs in relation to results, operational changes, deadlines, and other administrative communications.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal and compliance requirements for statutory authorities such as Edutrust/ CPE, and any other authorities related to international student recruitment and enrolment activities.
· Coordinate with internal teams including academics, admissions, accounts, and marketing to ensure smooth operations.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
· Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and periodic performance reports to the Team Manager.
· Take on additional assignments or projects as directed by the Management.
Required Skills/Abilities:- A customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience working in a student recruitment role is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Willingness to maintain a strong presence at MDIS events and member functions.
- Ability to respond to problems and to assist students with a calm, courteous, and helpful attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Creative and effective problem-solving skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Education / Certification and Experience:· A Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
· At least 2-3 years of proven experience in student recruitment, sales, or business development, ideally in higher education or professional programs.
· Experience with corporate partnerships, professional networks, or industry associations is a plus.
· Familiarity with CRM systems and experience generating reports for strategic decision-making is strongly preferred.
