Alcon is looking to hire a Senior Regional Benefits Manager, APAC, China and Japan to join our team who will be responsible for developing strategic direction of benefits program for countries in region together with country and regional HR managers.
- You will be providing analysis and benchmarking for the region and proposes changes to ensure Alcon's benefit plans are competitive and best address needs of local workforce.
- Providing global benefits governance for benefit changes and additions within region.
- Responsible implementation and oversight of outsourced benefits administration solutions for countries in region and well as managing other benefit providers in region.
- Stays informed of laws and regulations benefits in region and works with local Human Resources to assess needed changes.
- Manages activities of global consultant/broker within region; coordinates with global actuary for activities within region.- Leads strategic benefits analysis and recommends changes in coordination with country HR-
- Leads pension and retirement plan implementation and changes in region with local HR and benefit vendors.-
- Leads implementation of benefit changes in coordination with country HR as needed-
- Responsible for leading implementation and managing on-going service from AON global benefits administration (GBS) for applicable countries in region-
- Responsible for management and oversight of benefit plan providers/vendors for countries in region-
- Oversight of global consultant/broker within region; assist with coordination of local projects; manages benefit plan renewals for countries in region in coordination with global/country insurance brokers, including negotiation, review of benefit change opportunities-
- Responsible for executing internal financial controls related to benefit plan liabilities for countries in region-
- Stays abreast of legal/statutory requirements and changes in region that impact benefits and employment-
- Oversight for global benefits governance and benchmarking within region-
- Manages International Retirement and Savings Plan (IRSP) for eligible members.-
- Interacts with and communicates global benefit programs including:- Global Employee Assistance Program-
- CIGNA International Health Plan for international assignees-
- Global Business Travel Accident insurance plan-
- ISOS Emergency Medical assistance plans-
Interacts with international benefits pooling providers as applicable to region, in coordination with finance.-
- Assists with benefit analysis, harmonization, or other benefit activities related to M&A’s-
- Assists with country-specific benefit communication when needed due to changes or enrollment windows.-
- Supports HR on employee-specific benefit issues related to recruitment, transfers and terminations.
