**The Job**
The Centre Supervisor revolves around managing the daily operations of a community or activity centre, ensuring it runs smoothly, safely, and effectively.
**Responsibilities**
- Plan and host engaging activities such as wellness sessions, educational talks, and social gatherings that bring joy to our seniors.
- Work closely with volunteers, trainers, and staff to deliver high-quality programs that encourage participation and connection.
- Oversee daily Centre operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
- Keep the space clean, tidy, and safe.
- Be the go-to person for equipment, inventory, and all Centre assets, making sure everything is accounted for and in top condition.
- Record attendance, track participation, and keep clear records of activities.
- Prepare monthly reports highlighting key achievements, challenges, and meaningful feedback from the ground.
- Foster a positive atmosphere where seniors, volunteers, and partners feel welcome and supported.
- Help coordinate ad hoc events or meetings and step in when extra hands are needed.
**Requirement**
- A genuine passion for working in the non-profit sector, particularly with the elderly.
- Prior experience in event coordination or people management is a strong advantage.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with the capability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills; comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; organized and detail-oriented.
