Senior Vice President, Banking & Corporate Finance Southeast Asia

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**Role Description**
- Manage a portfolio of global top tier corporate and institutional clients in the resources, energy and infrastructure industries headquartered in Southeast Asia and Australia.
- Confidence and strong experience in originating investment banking mandates and mutually beneficial new businesses through proactive idea / content generation and share of mind with senior client executives, being their trusted advisor.
- Extensive contacts with strong ability to bring new client relationships to Santander.
- Close collaboration with relevant business partners in APAC and Santander network countries to offer tailored solutions to the clients in the portfolio.
- Prepare client business plan, budget and credit proposals. Monitor the credit exposure and credit standing of clients in the portfolio, as well as the profitability of client relationships to Santander (based on internal prescribed performance matrices).
- Strong first line of defense to ensure that all activities undertaken comply with internal and external standards and compliance requirements, including KYCs and sound risk profile of client portfolio.

**Basic Requirements**
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in managing top tier corporate and institutional clients in Southeast Asia and Australia.
- Strong industry knowledge in resources (agri, critical minerals, metals & mining), renewable energy and infrastructure.
- Strong Investment Banking coverage and/or Structured Finance experience will be a definite competitive advantage.
- Good command of credit / risk, and conversant with banking products, financing and hedging solutions (such as Export Credit Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Global Markets).
- Self starter with good initiative and high motivation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team player.
- Bachelor degree and above. CFA qualification is a plus.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
