SingHealth Experimental Medicine Centre (SEMC) operates several core facilities for translational research in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre and manages a national facility. As a member of SEMC’s Admin Operations team, you will play a direct role in providing professional administrative and operational support to investigators conducting their research in the Centre.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of research protocols, project budgeting, and service agreements, as well as providing project coordination support. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to carry out procurement activities (including import-export), review and implement policies and procedure documents, process monthly project billings, and manage relevant inventory and records for regular reporting.
Job Requirement
- Degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline, preferably with experience in biomedical research
- Knowledge of basic research skills, biosafety practices, and familiarity with laboratory design and requirements would be advantageous
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Self-motivated and resourceful individual with the ability to manage assignments independently
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and engage at all levels
- Strong analytical and project management skills with keen attention to detail
