**Job Summary**
As Aftermarket Solutions Consultant you will develop Strategic Aftermarket Services and support Dealers and Aftermarket Services Representatives - ASR (field team). You will contribute to the Division’s business leadership position by developing Powertrain Go-to-Market offerings and grow the Rebuild business sales (STU). This role is a key interface between CISD Regional Sales field teams, the Industries, Global Central Services Support and the Product Groups.
The Aftermarket Services Consultant holds a pivotal role in ensuring alignment between the industry teams in terms of Aftermarket strategic plans. The role is clearly recognized as a regional expert in a specific business segment/specialty area.
**What You Will Do**:
- Provide consulting, collecting VOC for NPI and distribution needs to define and develop Aftermarket breakthrough solutions with the industries that would help in market leadership.
- Work along with senior management in collaborating to industry growth plan, developing regional merchandising programs and rationalization for regional / second level dealer programs.
- Provide guidance and training for ASRs, direction for future solutions and industry needs and share this expertise at higher industry levels with business unit management.
- Provide Commercial Support:
- Development of the rebuilds strategies (both Certified and Dealer Rebuilds)
- Identify aftermarket issues and develop strategies to overcome them regionally. Support the execution of growth and turn-around plans.
- Make market driven recommendations on parts targets and growth strategies across multiple industries to achieve revenue targets globally.
- Support the development of defined marketing programs with the Construction industry and to achieve business plans & volume targets, penetration objectives and net price realization.
- Collect Voice of Market input with the industry group and VOC from regional field
- Lead analysis of industry key competitors’ global merchandising strengths, weaknesses and tactics
- Develop market merchandising programs and ensure consistency amongst regional programs
- Support dealer development with training for dealer PSSRs
- Communicate effectively across product, industry, dealer and/or customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations.
- Be able to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences.
**What You Have**:
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering and marketing or related field or equivalent experience
- Extensive product marketing commercial / technical experience (10 to 15 years), with a good working understanding of the needs of customers, dealers, and industries and product
- Strong accountability, proactive planner, and organizer.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to be a strong advocate of the customer and the enterprise
- Able to communicate with various levels of management at customer and dealer level.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Previous industry/strong technical background and multiple language capabilities
**Additional Information**
Position will require travel of up to 50%.
Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.
