Due to strong business growth, we are seeking an Operation Manager to lead overall operations and support the Managing Director with day-to-day business activities.
**Job Summary**
The Operation Manager with oversee site operations, optimize resources, and liaise with customers and business partners. This role requires hands-on leadership to manage scheduling, worker deployment, customer service, execution, order-following, and communication.
**Key responsibilities**:
- **Scheduling & Planning**: Coordinate with sales & admin staff to manage scheduling and planning the workforce to meet business demands.
- **Worker Deployment**: Optimize manpower allocation (8-10 workers) based on worker skills and project needs.
- **Quotation**: Coordinate with sales & admin staff to provide quotations based on types of projects and customer situations.
- **Customer Service**: Manage communication with customers and contractors in a responsive manner and uphold Winborne’s excellent customer service.
- **Communication**: Be the focal point to coordinate communication between internal team, contractors, and customers to ensure satisfactory completion of projects.
- **Site Management**: Oversee daily operations for waterproofing projects, ensuring compliance with BCA and other safety standards via regular inspections.
- **Material Planning & Procurement**: Forecast needs for materials and tools, manage requisitions and monitor usage to ensure efficient usage.
- **Crisis Management**: Troubleshoot issues (e.g. waterproofing failures, client disputes) to ensure smooth business operation.
- **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to BCA and other industry standards, maintaining documentation and support auditing processes with the relevant government agency.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent (or relevant experience)
- Strong customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in scheduling, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to ensure instruction adherence and execution quality.
- Fluent in Mandarin (speaking & writing) is required.
**Reporting Structure**
Reports to: Managing Director.
Supervises: Coordinators, Waterproofing Workers
Coordinates along with: Sales & Admin Representatives
**Salary & Benefits**
- **Base Salary**: SGD 4,000-6,000/month, based on experience.
