**Our client, a dynamic startup, is seeking an experienced Senior Import and Export Executive to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting sales and ensuring smooth international trade operations across South East Asia, South Africa, London, Japan, India, Indonesia, and Korea. If you have a solid background in import/export documentation, international trade, and letters of credit, we want to hear from you.**:
**Senior Import and Export Executive**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Export/Import Coordination**:Manage export/import business coordination primarily in ASEAN, India, the UK, and Japan.
- **Documentation Accuracy**:Ensure all export documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- **Shipping Instructions**:Prepare precise document instructions for shipping lines.
- **Bank Documentation**:Prepare accurate documents for lodgement with banks in accordance with customer-supplied Letters of Credit.
- **Relationship Management**:Develop and maintain strong relationships with BSM customers, related parties, banks, and compliance partners.
- **Process Improvement**:Actively participate in workflow process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- **Documentation Management**:Manage the timely release of documentation.
- **Shipment Arrangements**:Coordinate shipments and manage required internal processes.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma holder or above.
- At least 5years of relevant experience in import/export or sales support.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and active listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in shipping (e.g., Incoterms, contract administration, international trade administration, import/export documentation procedures, Letter of Credit).
Knowledge of SAP is advantageous. Knowledge of steel or metal import and export will be a plus
