As the EHS&S Senior Manager, you will be the key driver to set up the EHS&S team for our new manufacturing site and will be providing the leadership to plan, develop, implement and sustain Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) framework and processes in order to ensure safe work environment, compliance with local and corporate requirements. Also, you will be a key project member in the site design, build-up and ensuring operational readiness based on the overall project timeline.

You will be reporting to our Operations Director and based in our Tuas Singapore Manufacturing Site.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
Provide EHS&S leadership during site construction, set up and operational phase by working closely with the external parties and authorities, cross-functional stakeholders and our global EHS&S organization to achieve a high standard of compliance, through the Business Continuity Management System while driving implementation and execution of Management of Change on facility build-up, production line set up, material/chemical management and other significant changes to ensure risks are properly evaluated and controlled.

Establish the EHS&S team and necessary policies/frameworks/procedures for site operations; Work with the relevant parties and authorities to ensure all license/permit requirements of current and emerging regulations are met for the construction and operation of the site.

Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure compliant site EHS&S programs (e.g. Medical Examination & Monitoring, Emergency Response Plan, 4E Hazard Control, Risk Assessments, Energy Management, etc) are established and maintained while

Facilitate Maturity Assessment Tool reviews quarterly with the Leadership Team and submit monthly EHS&S bowlers to the Pall Corporate EHS&S team.

Ensure 4E Hazard Assessments (risk assessments) are conducted for all site job descriptions to be reviewed annually.

Be the Management Representative for EHSMS and lead the site to ensure

Strategize and plan the necessary EHS&S training, and industrial hygiene program and ensure sustainment across all associates on-site - Identify, track and report monthly EHS&S KPIs to local site management and Corporate EHS&S by m onitoring environmental and sustainability performance metrics

**The essential requirements of the job include**:
Bachelor or Master of Science/Engineering/Environmental, Health and Management.

Minimum 10 years of EHS&S experience in the manufacturing environment.

Minimum 5 years of leadership and people management experience.

Experience in management and handling of hazardous chemicals, which include risk assessment and control, safe work procedures, PPE, monitoring & surveillance, training, emergency planning, procurement, storage & disposal, etc

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer and/or Certified Fire Safety Manager.

Certification in Hazardous Substances Management.

Ability to communicate (verbal/written) in Japanese.
